Indian pacer T Natarajan is living the time of his life since the last 4 months. First up, he performed exceptionally well in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) for SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH). Then, the BCCI named him as India’s net bowler for the Australian tour. Fortunately, he made his national debut as Indian pacer Navdeep Saini got injured.
His fortune changed drastically in the T20I series against Australia as he was included in the Indian squad in place of injured Varun Chakravarthy. Now, another injury issue has proved to be a blessing in disguise for T Natarajan. Reportedly, Natarajan is all set to make his Test debut for team India in the third Test against Australia at Sydney.
T Natarajan To Make His Test Debut For India At Sydney: Reports
“The selectors had added Shardul Thakur (Mumbai paceman) as a replacement for Mohammed Shami (out with a fractured forearm), and there is Navdeep Saini too, but it’s very much likely that Natrajan would be preferred given that he brings variation to the attack. Also like Mitchell Starc does for Nathan Lyon, he would create footmarks which spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja can exploit,” a source said to TOI on Sunday.

Team India beat Australia by 8 wickets in the Boxing Day Test. The India National Cricket Team was right on the money as they avenged their Adelaide humiliation in style. They beat the mighty Australians in the Melbourne Test by 8 wickets.
India To Take On Australia In The Third Test In Sydney
Now, India and Australia will collide in the third Test from January 7 at Sydney. Star Indian opener, Rohit Sharma will join the side from the third Test. Australian opener David Warner will also join the side from the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy. T Natarajan looks a definite addition to the side too.
