With most of the teams preferring mentors for the T20 Worldcup, it couldn’t get better for India with the legend MS Dhoni in the Indian camp as the mentor for the big tournament.

Lakshmipathy Balaji Feels MS Dhoni Knows The Group Well

MS Dhoni was part of the Indian team until the 2019 World Cup and it has been just two years since he last has been the side. Lakshmipathi Balaji mentioned that it won’t be a new task for MS Dhoni and added that Dhoni will always be among his limits. There have been a lot of doubts over the Indian coaching management having to adapt to MS Dhoni’s style of mentorship which was cleared by Balaji.

“Dhoni was also a part of this same set up until two years ago. They have been part of the group. So, it is not new for Dhoni. Knowing Dhoni very well, he is not someone who will cross the limits,” Lakshmipathy Balaji spoke with News 18 on MS Dhoni

“The Aura Of MS Dhoni Is Going To Be There” – Lakshmipathy Balaji

Lakshmipathy Balaji mentioned that MS Dhoni is always different on the field and off the field and noted that he will always be willing to help whoever needs advice. He added that MS Dhoni’s ability to connect with different age groups is an extraordinary feature of him.

“It is a totally different ball game when it comes to MS as on-the-field contributor and off-the-field contributor. He has proved himself over the years because of his easy approach to the game and also the fact that anybody can go to him and talk about the game. Of course, the aura of MS Dhoni is going to be there. But, what he has maintained over the years with different age groups of cricketers is the ability to connect.” He added

MS Dhoni’s first assignment as a mentor for India started with a win in the warm-up fixture against England.
