"Take him to the Hospital" - Harbhajan Singh’s scathing attack on 'mentally ill' Inzamam-ul-Haq

An old video of the former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq yet again went viral on social media, where he claimed Harbhajan Singh was once ready to convert to Islam. It didn’t take much time to grab Harbhajan Singh’s attention, and he yet again gave the ballistic treatment to Inzamam-ul-Haq.

Actually, an X user shared the old video on his social media handle and tried to get under Harbhajan Singh’s skin. But this tactic backfired on him, as the legendary Indian spinner called the X user and Inzamam-ul-Haq mentally ill in his latest social media attack.

Harbhajan Singh slams Inzamam-ul-Haq over viral 'Islam Conversion' claim

In the controversial video, Inzamam-ul-Haq can be seen sharing an interesting story about Harbhajan Singh. The former Pakistan chief selector revealed that during one of India's tours of Pakistan, several Indian players, including Irfan Pathan, Zaheer Khan, and Mohammad Kaif, were invited to attend prayer sessions led by the well-known Islamic preacher Maulana Tariq Jameel.

Inzamam claimed that Harbhajan also joined these preaching sessions and seemed deeply influenced by Maulana Tariq Jameel’s words. The former Pakistan skipper even claimed that the former Indian spinner once expressed a desire to convert, but he couldn’t because of him.

Inzamam said in the viral video, “Maulana Tariq Jameel used to visit us every day. We had a room for Namaz. Following the prayers, he would talk to us. After a day or two, we invited Irfan Pathan, Zaheer Khan, and Mohammad Kaif for prayers. I noticed that 2-3 more Indian players also used to join; they wouldn't say the prayers but used to listen to the Maulana. Harbhajan once told me, 'My heart says that I should agree to whatever he (Maulana) says.'. I said, 'Then follow him. What is stopping you?' Then, he replied, 'I see you, and then I stop. Your life isn't like that'.”

Now, this video is once again going viral on social media. Sharing this video on X, a user slammed Harbhajan for X user slams Harbhajan by saying, “Were you about to convert to Islam? Didn't you remember your own Gurus before listening to Islamic speeches?”

After facing backlash over allegations that he attended Islamic preaching sessions and wanted to convert, the former World Cup winner suggested that those spreading such claims need serious help. Hitting back at the X user and Inzamam, Harbhajan Singh posted, X: “Take him with you to the hospital for mental treatment. He also needs serious treatment, just like you.”

Notably, Harbhajan visited Pakistan multiple times with the Indian team and shared a great bond with the former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar despite their involvement in a fiery incident during their playing days. Now, the duo does commentary together and shares pictures and videos together on social media.

The former Indian spinner played 11 Test matches, claiming 25 wickets, while he took 14 wickets across 17 ODI matches against Pakistan. In the shortest format, Harbhajan featured in two T20Is, picking up a lone wicket in his international career.
