Tamim Iqbal, Bangladesh’s one-day international skipper, has announced his retirement from international cricket. Tamim has been a vital member of the Bangladesh team for many years, and his contributions have been priceless.

He has the most ODI runs (8313) and hundreds (14) for his country, and he is the third-best run-scorer among contemporary cricketers, trailing only Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. He scored 5134 runs in 70 Tests, the second most for Bangladesh, at an average of 38.89, with ten hundred.

Tamim has a little greater victory % as ODI captain than Bangladesh’s greatest leader, Mashrafe Mortaza.
