The Women’s T20 challenge 2022 returns after a year gap due to the rising cases of Covid in the country. The first game will be played between the Trailblazers women led by Smriti Mandhana and the Supernovas led by Harmanpreet Kaur on May 23, a day before Qualifier 1 of IPL 2022.
The Supernovas are the most successful team in the tournament having won the title twice. Kaur has inspired her team to win the title twice, the last of which was in 2019.

With Women’s IPL on the cards from 2023, this season, the tournament is expected to be bigger and better.
