Team England Rope In Chef For Test Tour Of Pakistan Amid Concerns Over Catering – Reports

England National Cricket Team have reportedly decided to hire a team chef for the upcoming red-ball tour of Pakistan amid concerns over catering.

Team England have hired a personal chef for the Test tour of Pakistan after a debrief of the experiences of England’s white-ball team that toured Pakistan for a seven-match T20I series ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, according to a report published by the ESPNcricinfo.

Reportedly, several players and support staff had given the feedback that food was not up to the mark, particularly at match venues, during the seven-match limited-overs series and a few players had even suffered from upset stomachs during the tour.

Talking about the result of the seven-match T20I series that was played in Lahore and Karachi, England National Cricket Team defeated Pakistan National Cricket Team in their own backyard by 4-3.

Also, the Three Lions went on to become the World Champions by defeating the Men In Green in the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Food-wise, I have been a little bit disappointed in Lahore – England star Moeen Ali

England National Cricket Team star all-rounder Moeen Ali had earlier said that food-wise he was a bit dissatisfied in Lahore, but in Karachi everything was fine.

“Food-wise, I have been a little bit disappointed in Lahore. Karachi was really nice,” ESPNcricinfo had quoted Moeen as saying.

Meanwhile, Omar Meziane has been roped in as the chef of England for the Pakistan tour. He had previously worked with the England men’s football team in a similar capacity during the 2018 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2020, ESPNcricinfo reported.

The three-match Test series between the Three Lions and the Men In Green is all set to be played from December 1 to 5 in Rawalpindi, from December 9 to 13 in Multan and from December 17 to 21 in Karachi.
