Yuzvendra Chahal believes that Virat Kohli has made several important contributions during the period and that it is not simply numbers that matter.

Chahal and Virat Kohli have played a lot of cricket together. In addition to their time playing for India together, Chahal spent eight years at Royal Challengers Bangalore until being acquired by Rajasthan Royals for the most recent Indian Premier League season.

“If there is a player with a 50+ average in T20Is, he has won two T20 World Cups’ Man of the Tournament award and has 70 hundred in all formats. You can only see his average across all forms, and because of the standards he has established, we only focus on his 100s and ignore the vital contributions of 60–70 “ Yuzvendra Chahal said in a chat with Sports Yaari.

After taking a break during Ireland’s tour and the home series against South Africa, Kohli made a comeback to score just 12 runs in two T20Is and 33 runs in two ODIs against England before missing the West Indies and Zimbabwe assignments.
