The Indian cricket team is known for its high-octane performances on the field, and the camaraderie off the field also entertains fans. Following India’s clinical performance in the warm-up match against South Africa, Ishan Kishan and Arshdeep Singh were seen teasing Tilak Varma in the dressing room.

India defeated South Africa by 30 runs in a warm-up match on February 4 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. The Men in Blue posted a huge total of 241 for 5. Chasing the target, South Africa finished on 210 for 7. India’s batting and bowling performances sealed a comfortable win ahead of the World Cup.

Arshdeep started recording Tilak on his phone. He used a famous romantic poem to tease Tilak but quickly flipped the script. The left-arm pacer added that looking at Tilak too much would not be a good idea before breaking into a laugh.

"Humne use itna dekha jitna dekha ja sakta tha... aur bhala in do aankhon se kitna dekha ja sakta tha?" (I looked at him as much as one could look... but how much could these two eyes possibly see?)," Arshdeep said.

"Tilak... humne use itna... nahi, Tilak ko nahi dekh sakte itna yaar! Yeh toh bura dikhta hai!" (Tilak... we looked at him so much—actually, no, we can't look at Tilak that much. He looks bad!)," he added.

Kaunsa Remote Bhai? - Arshdeep Singh

Tilak Varma was unhappy about being recorded and tried to stop Arshdeep Singh from filming him. Ishan Kishan twisted his words to tease him. Kishan repeated the line in a joking way, turning it into a laughable moment, and Arshdeep Singh added to the fun.

The teasing continued as Ishan joked that they could not apologise at that moment because English classes were going on, turning Tilak’s attempt to stop the video into light-hearted dressing-room humour.

"Bhai mera bina permission aise videos mat le... main promote nahi karta yeh sab." (Brother, don't take videos like this without permission... I don't promote all this.)," Tilak Varma said.

"Bhai yeh promote nahi karta hai...," Ishan said.

"Kaunsa remote bhai? Kaunsa nahi karta remote?" (Which remote, brother? Which one doesn't work?)," Arshdeep stated,

"Abhi sorry nahi bol sakte bhai, English classes chal rahi hain!" (We can't say sorry right now, English classes are in session!)," Ishan stated.

Ishan Kishan Leads India’s Batting Charge

Ishan Kishan scored 53 off just 20 balls, including seven sixes and two fours. He added 80 runs in the powerplay with Abhishek Sharma, giving India a flying start. Tilak Varma smashed 45 off 19 balls, Suryakumar Yadav added 30 off 16, and Axar Patel chipped in with 35 off 23.

India finished strongly at the death. Hardik Pandya struck a quick 30 off 10 balls, while Rinku Singh showed courage by scoring 16 despite being hit on the helmet.

With the ball, India tested several options and used nine bowlers. Abhishek Sharma picked up 2 for 32. Harshit Rana bowled just one over and conceded 16 runs, but did not return to the field, raising some concern.

For South Africa, Ryan Rickelton scored 44 off 21, Jason Smith made 35 off 23, and Tristan Stubbs remained unbeaten on 45 off 21. South Africa finished on 210 for 7 and fell short. India rested Jasprit Bumrah and used the match to finalize combinations.
