The talented right-hander scored his first hundred off 81 balls. He scored his next hundred in double-quick time off 48 deliveries. All the criticism regarding the talent of the man should now be put to rest.

The BCCI ignored Shaw from selection in the national team due to his off-field behavior and attributes. However, the youngster remained true to his game on the field. In domestic cricket in India, Shaw is a regular run-scoter for Mumbai.

He scores runs in any and every form of cricket be it the Duleep Trophy, Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare of Syed Mushtaq Ali. However, his numbers were never considered good enough to give him a longer rope in international cricket.

The Delhi Capitals batter had a disappointing IPL 2023 season adding more reasons to keep him out of the side. He scored 106 runs at a bleak average of 13.25
