With the UAE refusing to host the tournament and the situation being tense in Pakistan too, the tournament is likely to be postponed now. Although there is no official confirmation, it is expected that the league will be suspended for some time now.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also suspended the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025
On the other hand, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also suspended the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 for one week due to the tensions between India and Pakistan. The call related to the same will be taken soon after analysing the situation.
The Pakistan Super League 2025 witnessed some good cricket. Quetta Gladiators are at the top of the points table in the league. They have won 6 games out of their 9 matches in the tournament, while Karachi Kings are next with 5 victories in the 8 games.
