"Until when will he disappoint.."- Twitter fumes in anger after Rohit Sharma departs cheaply in Vizag Test

Indian captain Rohit Sharma has once again walked away with disappointment by handing his wicket to England’s 20-year-old debutant off-spinner Shoaib Bashir. The 35-year-old batter departed from the crease after scoring just 14 runs by facing 41 deliveries and X (formerly Twitter) has exploded with reactions.
Rohit Sharma will not just be disappointed to give his wicket to a debutant but actually for the way he got out. It was more of a soft dismissal and indeed it was a great ball by the debutant Bashir who trapped Rohit with an orthodox inside-cutting delivery that Rohit was trying to just glance through the leg side before the ball took a thick edge and landed safely in the hands of leg slipper Ollie Pope.
During the 4th innings of the 1st Test in Hyderabad, Rohit Sharma gave his wicket to left-arm off spinner Tom Hartley who was England’s first debutant of the series. Shoaib Bashir too could have earned his debut Test cap at the Rajiv Gandhi stadium had he arrived here on time with the English entourage.
Shoaib Bashir faced delays in getting his visa from the Indian government when England were boarding their flight from Abu Dhabi to India, 4-5 days before the start of the series. While English players along with the coaching staff came arrived here without any issues, Bashir was forced to stay in the UAE before heading back home and landing Hyderabad on day 4 of the 1st Test.
Upon his arrival here, England head coach Brendon McCullum had stated that Shoaib Bashir will be integrated into the playing XI directly and so it happened. Bashir has picked a very good line-length and has not given much room to any batter to extend their arms.
His discipline finally paid off in the 18th over when he gave England their first breakthrough of day 1 in the form of Rohit Sharma’s wicket. Here are some of the best Twitter reactions:

A selfless innings from a selfless captain who only scored runs for the team and not for his own milestone.
