Former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad has unveiled his all-time India ODI XI as the Men in Blue created history by becoming the first team to play 1000 ODI matches. They achieved this feat in the first match of the three-ODI series against West Indies at Ahmedabad.

Prasad has shared his all-time India XI ahead of the series opener in the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad from February 6 onwards. In this match, Rohit Sharma also made his debut as the full-time India white-ball captain. The BCCI had sacked Virat Kohli as ODI captain after he had stepped down as T20I captain last year and replaced him with Rohit Sharma.

With India rewriting history in ODI cricket on Sunday, former Indian pacer Venkatesh Prasad took to social media and shared his all-time India ODI XI featuring some of his teammates and next-generation players as well.

Prasad then picked two-time World Cup winner Yuvraj Singh at no.5. Yuvraj is considered to be one of the greatest ODI players India has produced and was the Player of the Tournament in India’s epic 2011 World Cup win. Yuvraj was followed by MS Dhoni at no.6. Dhoni is the only captain in international cricket to win all the three ICC limited-overs trophies in T20 World Cup, ODI World Cup, and the Champions Trophy.
