Legendary India batter Virat Kohli, one of the most iconic figures in the history of cricket, gifted former RCB teammate Mohammed Siraj an autographed jersey at the end of the Sydney Test, which has recently been spotted on the bowler's home wall.
For Siraj, the jersey is a symbol of the Indian cricket legend, his icon Virat Kohli's respect, camaraderie, and the epitome of the nail-biting matches the two have played together.
In a recent viral video this week, Vipraj Nigam, a rising all-rounder, claimed that bowling to Virat Kohli himself is a dream come true. This is what reflects Virat's stature in Indian cricket.
“Great win by Team India. Resilience and determination from Siraj and Prasidh have given us this phenomenal victory. Special mention to Siraj, who will put everything on the line for the team. Extremely happy for him ❤️ @mdsirajofficial @prasidh43," Kohli tweeted after the win at the Oval.
"Thank you, bhaiya, for “Believe"ing in me ❤️," Siraj replied to the tweet.

Siraj needs to be cautious with workload: RP Singh's valuable advice to Indian pacer
When all are only praising Mohammed Siraj for having bowled 185 overs, i.e., more than 1000 balls, for India in the England series, former pacer RP Singh has shown concern over the excessive workload on the pacer.
“Currently, his body is fit, and he is bowling well, but Siraj, too, needs to be cautious. Workload management issues will affect him too, sooner or later,” Singh told TOI.
“Jasprit Bumrah has suffered because of his unique bowling action. Both he and Siraj are our assets, and their workload needs to be monitored. However, the workload management should be in domestic cricket, not international cricket,” said Singh in a statement.
Former Indo-Pak legends laud Siraj over Bumrah
World Legends have come forward to sideline Bumrah and pick Mohammed Siraj as the most threatening Indian bowler after their triumph in the England series, where Siraj finished not only with 23 wickets but also stood up for India in several crunch situations.
Former Indian captain Kapil Dev has come forward to claim Siraj as the "real hero," as he believes Siraj's high spirits and simple planning are what led them to a series-defining win against England.
On the other hand, former Pakistani legend Wasim Akram has named Siraj as the 'best' he has seen in recent years, since, despite the workload, the way he delivered for his team on vital occasions was commendable. He also praised his grit on the final day of the Oval Test.
