These are professional cricketers and I believe in them - Colombo Strikers skipper Thisara Perera

Colombo Strikers skipper Thisara Perera after the win in the game against Kandy Falcons made a massive statement, saying that he is happy with his new franchise and talked about the match, saying that it wasn't easy to bat and expressed confidence in his team. He added:

"Only changed my jersey, same tactics and same brain, everything same, I'm happy with this franchise. It's not easy to bat, in the middle overs it is a bit sticky, and that's why we plan to go run-a-ball. 180-190 is a good score on this wicket considering our powerful batting.

"I always back my bowlers, 2-3 big overs it happens in a big chase but we never put our head down. These are professional cricketers and I believe in them," he concluded.
