India National Cricket Team opener Yashasvi Jaiswal talked about his heroics with the bat in the second Test against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. He said that he was told by the management to play the way he wanted to and he was keen to win the game for his team.

India National Cricket Team came up with a sensational effort in the second Test against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The Rohit Sharma-led won the game by the margin of 7 wickets despite two and a half days washed out and completed the 2-0 win in the series.

In the first innings, Jaiswal played a solid innings and ended with the innings of 72 runs off 51 balls. The left-hander slammed 12 fours and 2 sixes in his innings, and was the leading run-getter for his team in the innings, helping the team take a lead of over 50 runs.

Yashasvi Jaiswal made sure that he continued his sublime touch in the second innings as well. The batter slammed the second consecutive half-century of the game and made sure that he helped his team win the game as well as the series.

Jaiswal ended with an innings of 51 runs off 45 balls and also slammed 8 fours and 1 six. He batted with a strike rate of around 115. His impressive performance in the game also helped them win the Man of the Match.

Yashasvi Jaiswal talked about his performance with the bat in the Test, saying that he was trying to do something different for the team. The batter also stated that every innings is important for him, and he wants to win the games for the side. Speaking to broadcasters, he explained:

"I think I was just thinking what I can do for my team. The situation was different in Chennai, and different here. Every innings is important. I try my best and prepare in that manner. Was told to play the way I want to. Wanted to win this game."

Yashasvi Jaiswal will be next seen in action when India will take on New Zealand in the three-match Test series. He has been rested for the T20I series against Bangladesh.
