Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya had an injury scare during the ongoing game against Punjab Kings at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
The incident took place in the 12th over of the Punjab Kings innings when Hardik Pandya was bowling his second over. The India all-rounder did not face any issue while delivering his first over. However, he had to call the physio for treatment while bowling his second over.

Hardik Pandya faced the issue after delivering the fourth ball of the over, which was a wide delivery. Immediately after that delivery, he called for the physio and was seen touching his left hamstring, seemingly indicating an injury. The physio then massaged the affected area before Hardik Pandya resumed his bowling.

Hardik did struggle with his line after receiving the treatment as he conceded a four and a six on the last two balls. He eventually gave away 15 runs in the over. He was not the first Mumbai Indians player to suffer an injury scare during the ongoing game.
Before him, Deepak Chahar also faced an issue with his left hamstring. Chahar bowled just one ball before calling for the physio and had his hamstring strapped. He also left the field briefly, possibly to receive further treatment.
Talking about the game, the Punjab Kings are in the driver's seat. They were on 144/2 in the 15th over at the time of writing this report. Josh Inglis was batting on 61 while captain Shreyas Iyer was unbeaten on 1.
Earlier in the same over, Mitchell Santner gave Mumbai a much-needed breakthrough by dismissing Priyansh Arya. The opening batsman departed after scoring 62 runs off 35 balls with the help of 9 fours and 2 sixes.
Earlier in the game, Mumbai Indians finished their innings on 184/7 after being asked to bat first. Suryakumar Yadav waged a lone battle for his team, scoring 57 runs off 39 balls. For Punjab, Arshdeep Singh, Marco Jansen, and Vijaykumar Vyshak picked up 2 wickets each.
