Shreyas Iyer arrived with yet another dismal show in India vs England 2nd Test in Vizag. England skipper Ben Stokes grabbed a brilliant catch to dismiss Shreyas Iyer in the 2nd innings. The Indian batter could only score 29 runs before his dismissal.
Shreyas Iyer also arrived with a poor show in the 1st innings of IND vs ENG 2nd Test. The right-handed batter slammed 27 runs off 59 runs in the previous innings. Notably, Iyer has failed to score even a half-century in the ongoing IND vs ENG Test series across 4 innings.

Left-arm spinner Tom Hartley dismissed Shreyas Iyer in the 2nd innings of IND vs ENG 2nd Test. Iyer tried to loft the full delivery on his pad. However, skipper Ben Stokes ran backwards from mid-off to grab a magical catch to shock Shreyas Iyer.

India lose 4 batters cheaply in 2nd innings
Batting at two down, Shreyas Iyer played 52 deliveries to add 29 runs to the scoreboard. He hit 2 fours during his innings. He looked in good touch, however, like his previous few knocks in the series, could not capitalize and go deep with the bat.
Meanwhile, England bowlers made an impactful performance in the 2nd innings of India vs England 2nd Test. They hunted 4 wickets till India reached 122 on the board. India has lost four batters cheaply.
Openers Rohit Sharma (13) and Yashasvi Jasiwal (17) failed to fire at the start. Later, Shreyas Iyer (29) and debutant Rajat Patidar (9) also got out cheaply. Shubman Gill is the only hope for Team India currently. The right-handed batter has already reached a half-century in the 2nd innings.
India earned 225-run lead after 1st innings
Meanwhile, Team India dominates England in the IND vs ENG 2nd Test due to their 225-run lead after 1st innings. India has got a 273-run lead after the 1st session of Day 3. Earlier, they posted 396-10 in 1st innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal’s double century.
England could only muster 253 on the scoreboard in 1st innings before losing all wickets, thanks to a six-wicket haul by Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah. The right-arm pacer demolished England’s entire bowling line-up to come up with another amazing bowling show in the series.
