Virat Kohli was absolutely pumped up after Tristan Stubbs' dismissal in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024 final between India and South Africa at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.

Defending 176 runs, India started well with the ball, taking two wickets inside four overs to put South Africa on the back foot. Jasprit Bumrah gave India the first breakthrough by castling Reeza Hendricks with an absolute beauty in the second over. In the fourth over, Arshdeep Singh sent back captain Aiden Markram to leave the Proteas reeling at 12 for 2.

Quinton de Kock and Tristan Stubbs then steadied the ship. They not only stopped the rot but also scored at a good pace to help their team recover. India were in desperate need of a breakthrough and it finally came in the 9th over when Axar Patel clean-bowled Stubbs.

The South African batter moved across and went for a sweep, thus exposing the stumps completely. He could not make any contact with the ball and the ball went on to hit the base of the off stump. And Virat Kohli celebrated the dismissal in his usual animated manner. He looked absolutely pumped up and let out a roar to celebrate the crucial breakthrough.
