The ‘Vaathi Coming’ Shoulder Drop step has become a rage in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League with cricketers across all the franchises coming up with their own version of the dance step.
Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Dwayne Bravo is the latest to join the party. The charismatic West Indian all-rounder came up with his own version of the ‘Vaathi Coming’ Shoulder Drop step during the ongoing fixture against Punjab Kings.
Bravo dished out his version of the shoulder drop step after he dismissed Punjab King’ Murugan Ashwin.
It all happened on the fifth ball of the 17th over when Murugan Ashwin, in an attempt to loft a length delivery bowled by Bravo over mid-off, managed to only get the toe end of his bat, giving a simple catch to Faf du Plessis.
And, once Du Plessis completed the catch, off went Bravo with his shoulder drop ‘Vaathi Coming’ step, leaving his teammate Ambati Rayudu in splits.
Ashwin’s dismissal meant Punjab Kings slumped to 7/87, which has now become 8/101 following the dismissal of Shahrukh Khan, who holed out in the deep after having played a brilliant knock of 47.
