Ravichandran Ashwin has turned into a YouTuber, and along with a few media personnel, he has been analyzing a lot of matches and players as well. The former India player, since the last few days, has been engaged in discussing the strategies for IPL franchises.

Ravichandran Ashwin discussed strategies for Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians

In a recent episode on the Hindi YouTube channel ‘Ash ki Baat’, Ravichandran Ashwin turned his attention towards Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians, breaking down their strengths and weaknesses. He was engaged in a discussion with journalist Vimal Kumar.

While his analyses were spot on, Ashwin also came up with a hilarious remark. When journalist Vimal Kumar talked about the presence of Sachin Tendulkar in Mumbai Indians' camp, the off-spinner mentioned Shubman Gill. He said:

"Ek taraf Sachin Tendulkar hai, doosri taraf Shubman Gill, GT ka captain. Theek hai, baat karo" (At one point, we have Sachin Tendulkar, on the other, we have Shubman Gill. Now, continue).

Ashwin's remark was towards the rumors of Shubman Gill dating Sachin’s daughter, Sara Tendulkar. The fans were quick to notice that and flooded the internet with memes, lauding the off-spinner for his witty remark.

Ravichandran Ashwin will play for CSK in IPL 2025

Ashwin will be back with his old franchise in the IPL 2025. The off-spinner was acquired by Chennai Super Kings in the auction and it will be a homecoming for him. He began his career with the franchise and would want to help his team win on his comeback.

Ashwin has been a stalwart in the IPL. The off-spinner since the last few seasons played for Rajasthan Royals and played a vital role for the team with the ball as well as the bat. With Chennai being his home ground, he would want to make a massive impact.

Ravichandran Ashwin has played 211 games in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and has picked 180 wickets in the tournament at an average and economy of 29.83 and 7.12. He also has picked one four-wicket haul. With the bat, he has scored 800 runs at a strike rate of around 118.

Chennai Super Kings will be opening their campaign in the IPL 2025 against Mumbai Indians. The match is scheduled to take place on Sunday (23rd March) at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai.
