India National Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli has grabbed all the spotlight on the field in the ongoing fourth game of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 against Australia. The game between the two teams is taking place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.
Virat Kohli has brought his captaincy mode in the ongoing match as he has been actively involved in the strategizing and planning with skipper Rohit Sharma. Not only this, he also has been talking to the bowlers, passing on his valuable inputs as well.
Virat Kohli set the field when Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep were bowling
Virat Kohli was also seen setting the field when Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep were bowling. The former India National Cricket Team skipper also ran towards both the bowlers during overs to discuss different plans for the Australian batters.
One of the defining moments came when he plotted the wicket of Steve Smith for Mohammed Siraj. Standing in the slips, the India National Cricket Team batter was seen telling the fast bowler to bowl from the corner as the Australia National Cricket Team batter likes playing the shots from there.
Virat Kohli was seen shouting: "Kone se...Kone see. Har ball kone se. Usko Pasand hai kone se. (Bowl it from the corner).
Mohammed Siraj, however, didn't do exactly that, as suggested by Virat Kohli. The India National Cricket Team pacer bowled a wide half-volley, to which Steve Smith tried to cash in but didn't move his feet much. The batter tried to go hard through covers but ended up getting an outside edge, which was caught by Rishabh Pant.

India National Cricket Team bowlers have been breathing fire with the ball
Steve Smith, who slammed a big century in the first innings, failed to make an impact in the second innings. He scored just 15 runs as the Australia National Cricket Team came under pressure the hard work of the India National Cricket Team bowlers paid off.
India National Cricket Team bowlers, especially Jasprit Bumrah, have been breathing fire with the ball. The premier pacer has made Australia National Cricket Team batters look clueless and has troubled them big time, taking wickets in a flash.
Along with him, Mohammed Siraj too has been sensational with the ball. The fast bowler looked out of form in the last few games but has brought his best in the ongoing innings. He has supported Jasprit Bumrah brilliantly as Australia have come under pressure.
The energy in the Indian camp has been fantastic and the major reason behind that has been Virat Kohli. He has looked extremely animated on the field and has been lifting his bowlers. His energy has surely reflected among his teammates as they eye rattling Australia under 300.
