Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya has continued his golden form with the ball in the ongoing game against Kolkata Knight Riders. The 12th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is taking place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Hardik Pandya's Mumbai Indians have been extremely dominant with the ball in the ongoing game against Kolkata Knight Riders. Opting to ball first, they have been all over the opposition as almost every bowler has looked threatening so far.
Hardik Pandya, who picked two wickets in the last game, also has chipped in as he picked the wicket of Angkrish Raghuvanshi. The young batter looked like the only settled player from his team, and the Mumbai Indians skipper took the responsibility into his own hands.
On the last ball of the 7th over, Hardik Pandya bowled a shortish delivery wide outside off. The ball came a bit slower than expected, and Angkrish Raghuvanshi went for a pull across the line but ended up miscuing it towards deep mid-wicket.
Naman Dhir, who was stationed there, moved to his left and took a simple catch to send the batter packing. It wasn't a great shot selection as with his wicket, Kolkata Knight Riders lost their fifth wicket in the innings.
What caught the attention of many was the celebration of Hardik Pandya after he removed Angkrish Raghuvanshi. He came up with the "Bye-bye" send-off, the same as he did after removing Babar Azam in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
