In what should come as heartening news for all Team India and especially Hardik Pandya’s fans, the swashbuckling all-rounder is sweating it out in the nets with the ball ahead of the upcoming five-match T20I series against England.
Hardik Pandya, on Tuesday, took to his official Twitter account to upload a video of him preparing in the nets ahead of the all-important series.
Pandya can be seen hitting the ball in the nets like only he can but most importantly he had the ball in his hand and he could be seen charging into bowl with his remodeled action.
“Preparation done ✅?? Can’t wait to get on the field on 12th” captioned Hardik Pandya.

Hardik Pandya’s bowling is crucial to India’s fortunes in the white-ball formats given the fact that its batsmen cannot bowl.
The absence of Pandya- the bowler- was felt to the hilt during the ODI and T20I series against Australia last November where Virat Kohli did not have anyone to turn to when his regular bowlers were getting hammered.
Such was the desperation that Kohli was forced to get Hardik Pandya in the attack to bowl a few overs during the second ODI in Sydney.
Hardik, of course, hasn’t been bowling ever since he made his comeback to competitive cricket last year following surgery on his back.
Pandya had suffered from persistent back issues since the 2018 Asia Cup and while he went on to play the 2019 World Cup as an all-rounder, it was pretty evident that he needed surgery for the same.
Hardik Pandya returned to competitive cricket in IPL 13 and since then he has been prolific form with the bat.
He was outstanding during the ODI and T20I series in Australia and if he can start bowling in the upcoming white-ball rubbers against England, he will balance out the Indian team beautifully.
