India allrounder Hardik Pandya was visibly pleased after the team's Champions Trophy 2025 title win in Dubai. India defeated New Zealand in the final to lift the trophy and end a long wait for an ICC 50-over title.
After the victory, Hardik Pandya did his iconic pose with the trophy as if he wanted to say, "What's the fuss all about". He was soon joined by the other teammates as the players posed for a picture on the pitch where they won the final.
Pandya also set his sights on winning the next ICC title for India. He has his eyes set on the T20 World Cup 2026 where he is expected to play a key role as the senior player of the side.

After the Champions Trophy win, Pandya indicated that there are many more trophies to come in the upcoming years. He said, "One more done, six to go". When asked about the next trophy, the all-rounder replied that he has his eyes set on the T20 World Cup 2026.
Hardik Pandya's performance in CT 2025
Hardik Pandya didn't have much to do in the Champions Trophy but he was required to play crucial cameos during various stages of the tournament. In the final, he scored a run-a-ball 18 with a four and a six and formed a useful partnership with KL Rahul.
Overall, he scored 99 runs in the tournament at an average of 24.75 and a strike rate of 106.45. He scored a vital 45 in India's last league match and then scored a 24-ball-28 in the semi-final against Australia.
Hardik's bowling was also crucial in this tournament as India played with just one specialist pacer in their last three matches. He took the new ball with Mohammed Shami when Harshit Rana didn't play. Pandya returned with 4 wickets in the tournament at an average of 35.75.
India's terrific run in Champions Trophy
India finished the Champions Trophy 2025 by winning all the five matches they played. The Men in Blue were in scintillating form this tournament and showed how strong they are in the 50-over format.
They went past the group stage without much fuss and then defeated a strong Australia and New Zealand to clinch the trophy. It was a historic moment for them as they finally won a 50-over ICC title after a gap of 12 years.
India have now won two ICC titles in two years. They had earlier won the T20 World Cup last year in June under the leadership of Rohit Sharma. This time. they have won the Champions Trophy.
