Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel are playing the first match after a while. While the pace bowling all-rounder last played in the series against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team, the spin bowling all-rounder has been part of the Test team but hasn't been able to get the game and has been warming the bench since the T20 World Cup 2024.

India didn't have a great start with the bat in the ongoing game

India has been asked to bat first in the ongoing game against the South Africa National Cricket Team. Ever since Suryakumar Yadav was appointed as the captain of the team, the Men in Blue has looked like a completely different team as all they have believed in is hitting the ball out of the part.

India didn't have a great start with the bat in the ongoing game. They lost Abhishek Sharma early as the batter perished after scoring 7 runs as he was removed by Gerald Coetzee. However, after that, Sanju Samson and skipper Suryakumar Yadav have put the opposition under pressure.

With the kind of start they have provided, the onus will be on Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel to finish the innings on high. The duo also will be important for the team with the ball as they have been in the top form of late in the shortest format of the game.
