The match between the two teams is taking place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Ashutosh Sharma, who walked out to bat at number six, played a great hand for Delhi Capitals in the game against Gujarat Titans. The right-hander continued his golden touch and made sure that he took his team past 200 runs on the board.
Ashutosh Sharma was all over the Gujarat Titans pacers as he slammed them all over the park. The Delhi Capitals batter attacked Arshad Khan, Mohammed Siraj, and Prasidh Krishna, ensuring that his team maximizes the last few overs of the innings.
During his innings, Ashutosh Sharma was also engaged in a fight with the veteran Gujarat Titans pacer Ishant Sharma. The incident happened on the last ball of the 19th over when the pacer bowled a short ball to the batter, and it hit the shoulder.
The ball lobbed straight towards the keeper, and the Gujarat Titans appealed loudly. But it came off the shoulder, and it was given a leg bye. Ishant Sharma was then seen saying something to Sharma angrily, and the latter responded by gesturing towards his shoulder, indicating the ball hit his shoulder and not the bat.
