India captain Rohit Sharma has been at his hilarious best in the ongoing fifth Test against England. The final game of the series, which has already been won by the hosts, is taking place at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.
Rohit Sharma was top-notch with his leadership in the ongoing game against England. After India was put into bat first, he made brilliant bowling changes and put the opposition under pressure right from the start. Apart from his leadership, his mood in the field was something to cherish.
This was quite evident when England batter Jonny Bairstow, who is playing his 100th Test match, walked out to bat in the 38th over of the game of the first innings and captain Rohit Sharma passed on a hilarious advice to spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who was bowling at the time.
Rohit Sharma was heard saying to Kuldeep Yadav that he can bowl anything to Jonny Bairstow. Replying to this, the leg-spinner reacted hilariously and agreed with the skipper. The captain was heard saying: “isko toh kuch bhi daal.”

Rohit Sharma’s advice worked for Kuldeep Yadav as Jonny Bairstow couldn’t make a bigger impact in his 100th game. He tried to play aggressively but couldn’t carry on at the start as he got out for 29 runs off 18 balls. He perished to the wrist spinner, who troubled him a lot during his stay on the crease.
Kuldeep Yadav bowled a fuller googly and drew Bairstow into a drive. The ball caught the faint outside edge and was pouched by the keeper Dhruv Jurel with ease. With the wicket of the England keeper-batter, the writ-spinner completed his 50 wickets in the Test and became the fastest Indian to achieve the feat by balls.
Kuldeep Yadav ended with five wickets whereas Ravichandran Ashwin bagged 4 wickets. Ravindra Jadeja was also in the wickets column. India ended England’s innings with just 218 runs. They picked the last 8 wickets quickly as all the 10 wickets went to spinners.
Rohit Sharma provides India with a fiery start in reply to England’s 218
After India bundled out England for just 218 runs, skipper Rohit Sharma has provided India with a fiery start in the ongoing game. The opening batter came out with positive intent and has played some sensational shots, making sure he doesn’t allow bowlers to settle in.
Rohit Sharma along with Yashasvi Jaiswal has added over 70 runs for the opening partnership and with the way they are batting, they would want to cash on the start and add as many runs as possible, outplaying England out of the game.
Rohit Sharma slammed a blistering century in the Rajkot Test and then followed it up with a half-century in the second innings of the Ranchi Test. He has led from the front and would be keen to take his team to win in the ongoing game. The batter looks all set for a big knock and his fans would be hoping the same as well.
