Former England pacer Stuart Broad has selected his ultimate cricketer with skills from his all-time greatest players from various international teams. Stuart Broad overlooked Indian pace bowling spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and Steve Smith while naming his ultimate cricketer.

Stuart Broad is regarded as one of the best bowlers in red-ball cricket in international cricket. The right-arm pacer picked up 604 Test wickets in 167 matches at an average of 27.68, including 20 five-wicket hauls. He is the second-highest wicket-taker among pacers and fifth overall in the longer format.

The 38-year-old bowler announced his retirement from international cricket after the fifth Test match in the Ashes series last year, where the Ben Stokes-led team drew the series at 2-2. Broad is currently working as a commentator in the ongoing three-match Test series against the West Indies at home.

James Anderson announced his retirement from international cricket before the series against the West Indies. He is playing his final international match in this series. England has decided to move away from Anderson to groom developing younger pacers in preparation for the 2025/26 Ashes in Australia.

The 41-year-old made his Test debut for England against Zimbabwe at Lord’s on May 22, 2003, where he achieved notable figures of 5/73. He has taken 701 wickets in 188 Test matches at an average of 26.52. His bowling record includes 32 five wickets in an innings, with his best bowling figures being 7/42.

Anderson is set to work with the England Test team throughout the English summer despite his retirement. He will mentor the England fast bowlers in the remaining two matches against the West Indies in the ongoing series and the three-match series against Sri Lanka, which is set to begin next month.
