Fast bowler Josh Hazlewood is all set to return for the third Test between Australia and India at Gabba, Brisbane. Hazlewood suffered a side strain after the first Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Perth and was eventually ruled out of the second Test.
He was replaced by Scott Boland in Adelaide, who performed exceptionally well and returned with five wickets in the match. With Hazlewood fit for the next Test, it will be a tough job for the Australian team management to choose their bowling attack for Brisbane.

Josh Hazlewood set to return for third Test in Brisbane
According to Revsportz, Josh Hazlewood is fit again and is set to return to Australia's Playing XI for the Brisbane Test. After the conclusion of the second Test in Adelaide, Hazlewood was seen bowling at the ground for a long period to prove his fitness.
He didn't look with any kind of concern and bowled with full pace. It is only a matter of time before he is deemed fit for the next Test in Brisbane. His return will further solidify Australia's fast bowling resources which already look strong.
Hazelwood bowling here @TheAdelaideOval . Seems absolutely fit. All set to be included in the playing XI for the third test at Gabba. Boland unfortunately will have to miss out.#AUSvIND pic.twitter.com/qzjH7PG8I5

Scott Boland likely to make way for Josh Hazlewood
While Josh Hazlewood is set to be back, Scott Boland is likely to miss out despite his impressive performance in Adelaide. Boland, who replaced Hazlewood for the second Test, will be unfortunate to miss out despite such a performance but such is the bench strength of Australia's pace bowling attack right now.
Boland returned figures of 2-54 and 3-51 across both the innings of the match. The 35-year-old quick bowled exceptional lines and used the pink ball to great effect. He picked up the big wickets of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Yashasvi Jaiswal during the match.
Scott Boland was playing a Test match after the Headingley Test in Ashes 2023 but showed no signs of rustiness. He was impeccable with his lines and lengths and constantly troubled Indian batters with his seam movement.
Australian fast bowlers on fire
Not only Boland, but all the Australian quicks were exceptional in the whole match. Mitchell Starc picked up a magnificent six-wicket haul (6-48) in the first innings that set up the match for Australia. Skipper Pat Cummins also announced his return to form with a brilliant five-wicket haul (5-57) in the second innings.
Starc picked up a total of eight wickets in the match while Cummins picked up seven. This makes the job even tougher for the Australian team management since all the fast bowlers are in great form. In this case, Boland is set to make way for Hazlewood.
There is also an option for Nathan Lyon to be replaced. Lyon bowled just a solitary over in Adelaide as the three fast bowlers did all the damage and picked up 20 wickets between them. However, Lyon is likely to be retained for Brisbane given his experience and record at the ground.
