Watch: Kagiso Rabada destroys Ibrahim Zadran's stumps, gives vicious send-off in CT 2025

South Africa National Cricket Team pacer Kagiso Rabada has looked threatening with the ball in the ongoing game against the Afghanistan National Cricket Team. The National Stadium in Karachi is hosting the third game of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

After posting a massive total of 315 runs on the board, the South Africa National Cricket Team have been right on the money with the ball. They have put the Hashmatullah Shahidi-led side completely on the backfoot with wickets at regular intervals, asserting their authority over the game.

Kagiso Rabada's battle with Ibrahim Zadran was enthralling

Opening batter Ibrahim Zadran looked settled at the top and played a few quality shots. But his battle with Kagiso Rabada was enthralling. The batter was challenged a lot by the South Africa National Cricket Team pacer as he didn't look comfortable against the pace of him.

Kagiso Rabada ultimately got his wicket as he produced a peach of a delivery to send the batter packing. The fast bowler bowled a back-of-a-length delivery at the stumps, to which the batter backed away and tried to push it to the off-side.

Ibrahim Zadran completely missed the ball as the middle stump lay flat on the ground. The fast bowler was chuffed to bits after taking the wicket as he turned around to give a fiery send-off to the batter.

Ibrahim Zadran ended with an inning of 17 runs off 29 balls. The opening batter had a strike rate of over 58 as he slammed one four and one six in his innings. With this wicket, Afghanistan National Cricket Team lost their second wicket and it opened the floodgates for them.

After taking the wicket of Ibrahim Zadran, Kagiso Rabada didn't stop there as he then went on to remove Azmatullah Omarzai in the 23rd over. The fast bowler bowled a back-of-length delivery angling onto the body. The ball slid past the leg stump as Omarzai tried to tuck it away.

The Afghanistan National Cricket Team all-rounder got a faint edge through to the keeper and with his wicket, the Hashmatullah Shahidi-led side lost their fifth wicket for just 89 runs. Azmatullah Omarzai also had a start but he couldn't get going as he scored just 18 runs.

Apart from Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi and Wiaan Mulder have bagged one wicket each. For the Afghanistan National Cricket Team, Rahmat Shah has been keeping his team in the hut along with Mohammad Nabi. They would be keen to take the game deep and help team win.
