Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batter Abhishek Sharma had another failure in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 as he bagged a low score in the ongoing game against Gujarat Titans (GT). The match between the two teams is taking place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Abhishek Sharma, who opened the innings for Sunrisers Hyderabad started off pretty well for this team as he hit four brilliant boundaries. He looked in decent touch, and it seemed that he would regain his touch in the ongoing game against Gujarat Titans and play a big knock.
However, the same fate unfolded for him in the ongoing game as it was in the last few games. The batter perished after having a start as he was removed by Mohammed Siraj in the 5th over of the innings as Sunrisers Hyderabad lost their second wicket inside the mandatory powerplay.
Mohammed Siraj bowled a delivery on a length around middle and leg, to which Abhishek Sharma went for the aerial route. He didn't get the proper connection as he ended up lofting it towards mid-on, and Rahul Tewatia, stationed there, took a comfortable catch to send the batter packing.
Abhishek Sharma getting out early didn't go well with the owner of Sunrisers Hyderabad Kavya Maran. She was seen visibly frustrated with the way the opening batter got out as she was seen gesturing and murmuring in anger.
