Delhi Capitals (DC) all-rounder Vipraj Nigam had a disappointing end to his innings in the ongoing game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the two teams is underway at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Delhi Capitals are having a torrid outing with the bat in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 game. Asked to bat, they looked clueless against the fast bowlers of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), who bowled impeccable lines and lengths to reduce the opposition to 29 for five.
With the team under pressure, Vipraj Nigam, along with Tristan Stubbs, tried to bail the team out of trouble. The duo soaked in all the pressure and were looking to bring their team back in the game, but the all-rounder had a poor end to his innings as he got run out to make things worse for Delhi Capitals.
On the 1st ball of the 13th over, Zeeshan Ansari bowled a delivery to which Tristan Stubbs nudged it off the pads and was sure of the two. Vipraj Nigam at the other end barely responded as both batters were shaking hands at one end.
Vipraj Nigam completed only one run and stayed put at the batter's end, but saw the more experienced Stubbs go past him. It was a complete discord in running, and the all-rounder paid the price. The third umpire did check as to which batter was supposed to be out.
It was indeed Vipraj Nigam who had to go as Stubbs crossed him at the batter's end with the bails being whipped at the bowler's end. It was a good throw to the bowler's end, but it didn't matter much as Nigam wasn't in the frame. Also, Kavya Maran came up with a hilarious reaction to dismissal.
