Watch: Khurram Shahzad Misses Easy Catch Of David Warner, Pakistan Messing Up In Fielding

Pakistan is not off to an auspicious start in the first test against Australia in Perth. David Warner thrashed the bowlers everywhere and reached his 26th test century in style. The team has been really poor in the field, dropping a lot of catches and missing out on easy opportunities. Australia has already crossed the 250 mark on the very first day and has lost only three wickets.

Pakistani fielders dropped many catches and gave a lot of chances to David Warner which helped him in completing his ton. One of the easiest catches dropped of Warner was by Khurram Shahzad who dropped an easy one at mid-on while Warner tried to send it over the fielder’s head. Pakistan has been horrible with the fielding missing out on clear run-out chances and dropping too many catches.

Pakistan fans are also not happy with their team’s performance on the field against Australia in the first test on the very first day. One of the fans shared a video of Khurram missing an easy catch of Australian opener David Warner and wrote, “Constantly Dropping catches by all Pakistani players، can u survive in modern cricket?”

Pakistan has never been the best team on the field but dropping easy chances can lead to dire consequences as it is an important aspect of the game. Players like Khurram Shahzad and Agha Salman have disappointed the team with their fielding performances dropping too many chances against a team like Australia. The first test, being played in Perth has already seen some fireworks from David Warner who completed his 26th test century.

The two teams will meet in Melbourne for the traditional ‘Boxing Day’ test after the first test is over. The final test will be played at the SCG, starting from 3rd January after the New Year celebrations. David Warner, who is playing his last test series has already made this series memorable after scoring a ton in the very first innings of the series.
