Delhi Capitals (DC) batter KL Rahul achieved a massive feat in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The right-hander became the fastest batter from India and overall third fastest to hit 200 sixes in the league.
Delhi Capitals batter Rahul achieved the feat in the ongoing game against Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The 35th game of the league between the teams is underway at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday (19th April).
KL Rahul walked out to bat at number three and looked in good touch. He played some brilliant shots in his innings, and with the six against Mohammed Siraj, he completed 200 sixes in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He achieved the feat on the 3rd ball of the 3rd over.
Mohammed Siraj bowled a fuller-length delivery, angled in, to which KL Rahul cleared his front leg and thumped it over long-on for a massive six. The batter didn't try to hit it too hard as held his shape, and hit a big six.

Rahul slammed his 200th six in the 129th inning. The record of the fastest 200 sixes in the league is held by Chris Gayle, who achieved the feat in 69 innings. Andre Russell is second on the list, having reached the landmark in 97. AB De Villiers and David Warner are also on the list.

Rahul also became just the 6th Indian in the IPL to breach the 200-six mark in the league. He joined the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Sanju Samson, and Suresh Raina.

He is followed by Rohit (286), Virat (282), Dhoni (260), AB de Villiers (251), David Warner (236), Kieron Pollard (223), Sanju Samson (216), Andre Russell (212), and Suresh Raina (213).
In the ongoing game, Rahul played a decent innings of 28 runs off 14 balls. The Delhi Capitals batter batted with a strike rate of 200 and also slammed four boundaries and 1 six during his stay at the crease. Thanks to his heroics and contributions from others, Delhi posted a total of 203 runs.
