IND vs WI: Watch - KL Rahul Gets Run Out One Short Of Fifty In The Second ODI

Indian vice-captain KL Rahul was looking well set to reach his fifty in the second ODI but a moment of hesitation on his end resulted in a painful run out for the Karnataka batter.
Rahul paired up with Suryakumar Yadav after India had already lost Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, and Virat Kohli inside the first fifteen overs. They were in deep trouble and were in dire need of a partnership.
The duo began rebuilding and once they found their timing, the runs began to flow. Unfortunately for the hosts, the brisk 91-run association was brought to an end as Rahul was caught short of his crease.

The 29-year-old played a drive and immediately called for a double. It was on but during the return, he hesitated and a clean throw from Akeal Hosein ensured that Shai Hope didn’t have much to do behind the stumps.
Their threatening partnership was broken and the momentum was once again wrested by the Windies. Earlier, Pant was sent out to open in a surprise move. He partnered with Rohit at the top.

It didn’t work out for the southpaw as he got himself off to a start before throwing it away while playing a poor stroke. Kohli also perished in an attempt to drive, leaving India reeling at 43/3.
