KL Rahul hilariously mocked his teammate Shubman Gill during a training session ahead of the crucial third ODI against Sri Lanka.

Team India and Sri Lanka will be locking horns against each other in the third and final ODI on Wednesday (August 7) at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The forthcoming game is a must-win clash for Team India as they need a victory to avoid a series defeat.

While India have their back against the wall, it looks like the mood in the camp is very upbeat. The incident involving KL Rahul and Shubman Gill very much shows that the spirit is high in the Indian camp. The incident took place during a training session when Gill was entering the field.

As the young batter came running onto the field, KL Rahul hilariously teased him by mimicking his running style. Gill immediately looked back and said something to Rahul before running away.

India's tour of Sri Lanka so far:

The tour of Sri Lanka marked a new beginning for Indian cricket. The three-match T20I series was India's first assignment under new captain Suryakumar Yadav and head coach Gautam Gambhir. The Men in Blue started the new journey on a brilliant note by whitewashing the hosts in the T20Is.

India won the first game by 43 runs before winning the second game by 7 wickets (DLS method) to clinch the series. The Suryakumar Yadav-led side then registered a thrilling win in the third game through Super Over.

While India dominated the T20Is, the story has been a bit different in the ongoing ODI series. In spin-friendly conditions, India's batters have failed to impress so far. Barring captain Rohit Sharma, who is the leading run-scorer in the series, no other Indian batter has managed to impress. The first game ended in a tie as India were bowled out for 230 while chasing 231.

In the second game, India were all out for 208 runs while chasing 241 runs. The visitors will now be looking to win the upcoming third game to draw level in the series. The third ODI will mark an end to India's tour of Sri Lanka. India will be in action when they host Bangladesh next month.
