Kuldeep Yadav joined the wickets column later in the third T20I against South Africa but he made sure that he turns out big time. India asserted their authority over Proteas in the series decider at the New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, and made sure that they leveled the series and kept their record of not losing against Proteas since 2015 intact.
After posting a total of 201 runs on the board, Indian bowlers oozed their class and put South Africa under tremendous pressure. Almost everyone chipped in and made sure they entertained everyone. Kuldeep Yadav, who came late into the attack, made sure that he made a mark in the game.
He produced a peach to send Donovan Ferreira packing. The batter had no clue about the delivery by Kuldeep Yadav and had to take the long walk back to the pavilion. The Chinaman bowler bowled a low delivery that turned in and hit the pads to castle the stumps.

Donovan Ferreira scored 12 runs off 11 balls. Kuldeep Yadav took his revenge perfectly as he was hit for six early. With the wicket, South Africa was left tottering at 75/5 and was under immense pressure. After that, the Proteas lost wickets in no time and were down and dusted before 100 runs.

After removing Donovan Ferreira, Kuldeep Yadav was on the roll in the third T20I. He ran through the South Africa batting lineup and picked wickets in no time. He picked four wickets in 7 balls and became the first Indian spinner to take a five-wicket haul twice in T20I history.
Kuldeep Yadav, who is celebrating his birthday today, returned with the figures of 5/17, which is his career best. His heroics helped India bundle out the opposition for just 95 runs and win the game by 106 runs and level the series 1-1.
