Pakistan left-arm pacer Mir Hamza bowled an exceptional delivery to dismiss Bangladesh opener Zakir Hasan on the fifth day of the second Test.

Zakir Hasan had no answer to Mir Hamza's delivery in the first session of Day 5 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, September 3.

Bangladesh is chasing 185 runs to complete a historic series whitewash in Pakistan. The visiting team bowled out the opposition for 172 runs in Pakistan's second innings of the ongoing match.

Bangladesh scored a quick 42 runs in seven overs before the stumps on the fourth day in Rawalpindi.

Mir Hamza provided the first breakthrough in the sixth over of the first session on the final day of the Test match.

The left-arm pacer bowled a good-length delivery that nipped away from the Bangladesh opening batter. The ball beat Hasan's outside edge and hit the top of the off-stump.

The Pakistan pacer pumped up after picking his first wicket in Bangladesh's second innings.

Zakir had to depart to the dressing room after scoring 40 runs off 39 balls, including three boundaries and two sixes. Bangladesh lost their first wicket with 58 runs on the board after 12.2 overs.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) official account shared the wicket of Zakir Hasan on their Instagram account with the caption, "Mir Hamza breaks through for the first strike! 🎯 #PAKvBAN | #TestOnHai"

Pakistan Took 12-Run Lead In First Innings

Earlier in the match, Pakistan scored 274 runs in their first innings. Saim Ayub (58), Shan Masood (57), and Salman Agha (54) each contributed crucial half-centuries.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz picked up five wickets for 61 runs, while Taskin Ahmed took three wickets in his comeback Test match.

Pakistan took a 12-run lead after the conclusion of the first innings from both teams. Litton Das scored 138 runs despite his team's collapse to 26/6. Mehidy Hasan Miraz also added 78 runs.

Khurram Shahzad took six wickets and Mir Hamza took two as Bangladesh were bowled out for 262.

However, Pakistan struggled to score runs in their second innings. They lost the wickets of Abdullah Shafique (3) and Khurram Shahzad (0) for only nine runs by the end of Day 3.

Saim Ayub (20) and Shan Masood (28) couldn't convert their starts, while Babar Azam was dismissed for just 11 runs.

Mohammad Rizwan and Agha Salman added 55 runs for the seventh wicket. Rizwan scored 43 before being dismissed by Hasan Mahmud.

Salman remained unbeaten on 47 from 71 balls. Pakistan was bowled out for 172 in 46.4 overs. Hasan Mahmud took five wickets, and Nahid Rana grabbed four.
