Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj is known for his aggression and intent. When Siraj is in good rhythm, he is capable of troubling any batter in the world.

Not only just he bowling but Siraj is also known for his fiery sledging as well.

During the fourth day of the first Test between India and Bangladesh in Chennai, Siraj sledged Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto after the batsman hit him for a four.

Siraj bowled a short ball down the leg side which Shanto helped on the way for a pull shot through the fine leg boundary.

Mohammed Siraj was not happy with it and had a few words with Shanto. He even pointed his finger towards the batsman and tried to get into his head.

However, the Bangladesh skipper kept his calm and just wanted to concentrate on his batting instead of engaging in a war of words.

Mohammed Siraj did not stop here and continued to sledge Najmul Hossain Shanto after almost every ball. Shanto did not lose his calm and kept playing his natural game.

Siraj was clearly pumped up for the rivalry and his increased pace was a clear indication for it. He constantly bowled close to 140 kph on a pitch which was playing uneven on Day 4 of the match. However, he did not get any wicket for his spell and finished with 0-32 in 10 overs.

Meanwhile, Shanto was finally dismissed for a brilliant 82 off 127 balls, and hit 8 fours and 3 sixes during his knock. He missed out on a well deserved hundred as he tried to smash a length ball outside off stump on the rise and got a top edge. Jasprit Bumrah went to his right from extra cover and took a well judged catch after holding his balance well.

Bangladesh required 357 more runs to win with 6 wickets in hand when they came to bat on Day 4. India had the upper hand but Najmul Hossain Shanto and Shakib Al Hasan stitched a gritty stand to frustrate India's bowlers early in the morning session.

As it seemed like the match will go into the second session, Ashwin came into the attack to dismiss Shakib Al Hasan. It was just the start for the flurry of wickets to follow. Litton Das was dismissed cheaply by Jadeja while Mehidy Hasan Miraz too could not trouble the scorers this time.

Najmul Hossain Shanto was also dismissed in an attempt to counter-attack. Shanto was also the highest run-scorer for Bangladesh in the match. Ravindra Jadeja finished the things off by picking up the wicket of Hasan Mahmud who was bowled while trying to slog a delivery to the leg side.
