India National Cricket Team pacer Mohammed Siraj has been bowling his heart out in the ongoing first Test against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The first match of the two-match series between the teams is taking place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Mohammed Siraj has been ensuring he supports Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep. He has bowled impeccable lines and lengths and is ensuring he gets in the groove ahead of the huge Test season for the India National Cricket Team.

Siraj has been giving his best in the field as well but he also faced an injury scare. The fast bowler hurt himself while fielding near the boundary ropes and looked in immense pain. Things didn't look good for him as it would've given a massive scare to the Indian team.

On the 1st ball of the 23rd over, Ravindra Jadeja bowled a delivery to which Shakib Al Hasan swept to fine leg where Mohammed Siraj hurt himself while trying to stop the ball.

He looked in pain before the physio ran out to check on him. Later, he was taken off the field.

India has been all over Bangladesh with the ball in the ongoing game. The pace trio Jasprit Bumrah, Akash Deep and Siraj have made a mockery of the Bangladesh batting lineup and have put the team in a dominating position with their magnificent bowling.

Jasprit Bumrah drew the first blood for his team, and after that, it was young pacer Akash Deep who picked two wickets in the same over. Bumrah then stepped up again as he removed Mushfiqur Rahim before Mohammed Siraj chipped in as well for his team.

Mohammed Siraj removed Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto for 20 runs. Ravindra Jadeja also joined the wickets column as he removed Litton Das and Shakib Al Hasan to break the backbone of the Bangladesh team. The visitors were left tottering at 92/7 and were under massive pressure.

Shakib Al Hasan looked solid at the crease and with the way he was batting, it seemed that he would set the stage on fire. But the sweep shot led to his downfall. The veteran all-rounder ended with an innings of 32 runs, and India National Cricket Team came at the top.

India team would now be hoping to take the remaining three wickets and take a massive lead. They would be keen to wrap up the innings and enforce follow-on to the opposition. Earlier, with the bat India came up with a vital effort with the bat despite being under pressure.

They lost top 6 batters and were left totterig at 144/6. But after that it was Ravichandran Aswhin (113) slammed a magnificient century. He along with Ravindra Jadeja (86) added 199 runs partnership and bailed team out of trouble as India ended the first innings with 376.
