Mohammed Siraj strikes in the first spell to send Zack Crawley back
Indian pace bowling sensation Mohammed Siraj leads the pace bowling unit of India for the second test, as he is the senior pro in the absence of world No. 1 test bowler Jasprit Bumrah.
Mohammed Siraj picked only two wickets in the first test at Leeds, which came after much effort; however, coming with added responsibilities at Birmingham, he picked the vital wicket of English opener Zack Crawley.
This was the third wicket picked by the Indian side in the last hour of the day's play, as Akash Deep picked two early wickets in quick succession on Day 1, dismissing centurions from Leeds, Ben Duckett, and Ollie Pope.
