Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter Virat Kohli came up with a kind gesture for the Punjab Kings batter Musheer Khan after the game between the two teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the two teams took place at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur.

Virat Kohli stole the limelight with his innings during the game against the Punjab Kings. The opening batter came up with a breathtaking knock and made sure that the Royal Challengers Bengaluru registered their fifth consecutive win away from home.

Virat Kohli, who opened the innings for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, took his team off to a great start even though they lost Phil Salt. The right-hander timed the ball to perfection and made sure that he batted till the very end to take his team home.

Virat Kohli slammed his third half-century in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The opening batter ended with an innings of unbeaten 73 runs off 54 balls. He batted with a strike rate of over 135 and also slammed 7 fours and 1 six during his stay at the crease against PBKS.

Virat Kohli, along with Devdutt Padikkal (61), took the game away from Punjab Kings as Royal Challengers Bengaluru chased the target with seven wickets in hand. This was also their fifth win in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, and with this, they missed the third spot on the points table.

While his innings was one for everyone to cherish, Virat Kohli also came up with a special gesture for the Punjab Kings batter Musheer Khan. The young batter, after the match, went to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru dressing room and asked for a bat from the senior batter.

Musheer Khan revealed that he cried in front of Virat Kohli and asked him for the bat, even if it was a broken one. He said that he told the senior batter that he scored a lot of runs with this bat after Sarfaraz Khan gave him his bat.

He was heard saying in the video: "Main to Ro hi Diya Virat Kohli bhaiya ke samne. (I cried in front of Virat bhaiya. I told Virat bhaiya I have scored so many runs from your bats bhaiya, Sarfaraz bhaiya used to give me your bat. Bhaiya, give me one ba,t even if it is a broken bat, just give me one bat)".

Musheer Khan was roped in during the mega auction for Rs 30 lakh for Punjab Kings. He is yet to play a game for the franchise, and would be hoping that he plays some part in the league.
