Team India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy showed no respect to his IPL captain, Pat Cummins, during the ongoing first Test match. Nitish Kumar Reddy played an outrageous uppercut shot against Pat Cummins in the first innings, leaving fans, experts, and commentators in awe.

Reddy made his Test debut after receiving his cap from Virat Kohli. He was picked as the fourth pace bowler in the playing XI, with only one specialist spinner, Washington Sundar. Reddy was given a chance despite his disappointing performances in the Duleep Trophy and unofficial Tests against Australia A.

Nitish came to the crease when India was struggling at 73/6. He added a 48-run partnership with Rishabh Pant for the seventh wicket in the first innings. The 21-year-old debutant impressed everyone with his impressive strokeplay, including confidently executing reverse sweeps against Nathan Lyon.
