CSK's left-arm wrist-spinner Noor Ahmad picked up the big wicket of Delhi Capitals' captain Axar Patel in a huge moment in the game played at Chepauk. It was a brilliant comeback from the youngster after he was taken for a six earlier in the over.
During the 11th over of the match, Axar Patel looked to smash a fuller-length delivery from Noor Ahmad across the line. However, the ball turned into him as it was a googly and Axar was completely foxed.
The ball beat his attempted swipe to cannon into the stumps. Noor deserved the wicket as he ensured to attack the stumps but bowled the ball a little slower to beat the DC captain in the air.

Axar Patel was dismissed for a well-made 21 off just 14 balls. The Delhi Capitals skipper struck 2 fours and 1 six during his quickfire knock in which he showed intent from his first ball.
He came in to bat at No. 4 in this game and smoked a six off his first ball bowled by Ravindra Jadeja straight down the ground. His innings provided the Capitals the much needed impetus in the middle overs.
Outstanding season for Noor Ahmad
It has been an excellent season for Noor Ahmad so far, who was signed by CSK for INR 10 crore. He has been in great wicket-taking form and is enjoying the wicket at Chepauk.
The young spinner from Afghanistan has been in excellent form in the middle overs for Chennai Super Kings and will play a key role for them in the upcoming matches.
Noor has already picked up 10 wickets in just four matches so far at an average of 11.80, making him the highest wicket-taker of the tournament so far.
Delhi Capitals put up a competitive total
Earlier in the day, Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bat first on a hot afternoon in Chennai. The Capitals lost Jake Fraser-McGurk early for a five-ball-duck but KL Rahul and Abishek Porel played brilliantly for their respective knocks.
Porel was dismissed for a fiery 33 off just 20 balls with 4 fours and 1 six. but Axar Patel mantained the mometum with some lusty blows. After Noor Ahmad dismissed Axar Patel, young Sameer Rizvi arrived to give a good company to Rahul.
Despite losing wickets at the other end, KL Rahul stood at one end to hold the innings together. He played his role to perfection and showed intent to score quickly right from the start.
The pitch and the conditions were not easy but Rahul showed his class and temperament to thwart CSK's high-class spin attack. He missed out scoring runs in the last game but ensured to make his innings count this time around. He was well supported by the other batters in the team.
