Bengaluru-based Rachin Ravindra has taken the game away from the India National Cricket Team. The left-hander played one of the best innings by an overseas batter in the Indian conditions and completely outplayed the Rohit Sharma-led side on Day 2 and Day 3 of the game.

Rachin Ravindra, who came to bat at No.4, came up with a gigantic effort and slammed Indian bowlers all over the park. He looked in staggering touch right from the start and played his shots from the start, putting the hosts under pressure with his excellent batting.

Ravindra slammed his second overseas century and made sure that he took his team to the massive first innings lead. The left-hander batted till the end and with the way he was batting, Indian bowlers seemed to have no plans against him on the two days that he batted for his team.

Rachin Ravindra plays innings of 134 to take New Zealand to 404 runs

Ravindra ended with an innings of 134 runs off 157 balls. The Southpaw slammed 13 fours and 4 sixes in his innings. His brilliant knock with the bat ensured that the New Zealand National Cricket Team posted a gigantic first-innings total on the board.

The New Zealand National Cricket Team ended with a score of 404 runs. The Kiwis also took a massive lead of 356 runs which is highest by them on Indian soil. Overall, it was the fifth-highest lead taken by a visiting team against India National Cricket Team India.
