Ravi Bishnoi bowled a length delivery outside off, to which Washington Sundar tried to dab it down to short third man. The all-rounder ended up getting thick inside-edge and it clipped the off-stump. It was just enough for the bail to fall off to end Sundar's innings.

Washington Sundar was back in the hut after scoring 2 runs off 3 balls. After he got out, Lucknow Super Giants bowlers kept chipping in with wickets at regular intervals. They restricted the opposition to a total of just 180 runs, especially after their 120-run opening stand.

Ravi Bishnoi was the pick of the bowlers for Lucknow Super Giants as he returned with the figures of 2/36. Along with him, Shardul Thakur also bagged two wickets while Digvesh Rathi and Avesh Khan also chipped in with one scalp each.

Chasing the target, Lucknow Super Giants had a terrific outing with the bat. Aiden Markram (58) along with Rishabh Pant (21) took their team off to a flying start with the bat. Nicholas Pooran (61), at three, continued his golden form with the bat and slammed magnificent half-century. Ayush Badoni (28*) also played decent hands as they won the game by 6 wickets in hand.

This was the fourth win for the Lucknow Super Giants in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 under the leadership. They now are stationed third on the points table with 8 points under their belt. GT, on the other hand, are second on the table.
