India National Cricket Team all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin had a dream game with the bat and ball in the first Test against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The match between the two teams took place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Ashwin was one of the biggest reasons behind the win of the India National Cricket Team in the first Test against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The all-rounder stepped up big time for his team with both bat and ball which turned out to be a difference between the teams.

In the first innings, when India were struggling with the bat, Ashwin came up with a fighting effort with the bat. The all-rounder slammed a sensational century under pressure and made sure that he took India National Cricket Team batter to the big total of around 380, which at one moment seemed impossible.

Ashwin slammed his 6th Test century and made everyone applaud him for his innings. He with 113 runs off 133 balls. The homeboy also hit 10 fours and 2 sixes in his innings. The confidence was then reflected in the bowling, as well as he came up with a superlative effort.

Ashwin went wicketless in the first innings, but he made sure that he made up for that in the second innings. The off-spinner came up with a magical spell and single-handedly won the game for his team and made a mockery of the opposition as he wrapped up the Bangladesh innings pretty fast.

Ravichandran Ashwin picked a five-wicket haul and changed the game for his team. On the morning session of Day 3, Bangladesh National Cricket Team batters Najmul Hossain Shanto and Shakib Al Hasan batted pretty well and it seemed they would take the game away.

However, the introduction of Ravichandran Ashwin changed the course of the game and tilted the game for India. He ran through the opposition's batting lineup and took 6 wickets in a flash to win the game for his team in a flash and go 1-0 up in the series with one more match to go.

During his spell, Ravichandran Ashwin got special appreciation from India's premier batter, Virat Kohli. As Team India was in a huddle celebrating wicket, Virat Kohli bowed down to the off-spinner for his sensational effort with the ball in the game at his home town.

Ravichandran Ashwin talked about the kind of impact that he has made for the team in format. He mentioned that when he came into the team, he had to fill the big shoes of Harbhajan Singh, who was a huge inspiration for him. Speaking after the match to broadcasters, he explained:

"I can't really comment on what sort of impact I have had on this Test match. I had huge shoes to fill, I came in to replace Harbhajan, I used to replicate his action in junior cricket, he was an inspiration to me," he concluded.
