Chasing this challenging total, Delhi Capitals openers Pathum Nissanka and KL Rahul provided a strong and composed start. The pair built a crucial 110-run opening partnership, putting early pressure on the Rajasthan Royals bowling unit and setting the foundation for the chase.

Nissanka scored 62 runs off 33 deliveries before his dismissal. After both openers departed, Nitish Rana added a valuable 33-run cameo, helping maintain the required rate and easing pressure on the middle-order batters.
