India's journey in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2024 has been nothing short of spectacular. From commanding victories to thrilling nail-biters so far in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, the Men in Blue have dazzled fans across the world with their talent on the global stage.

Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, the Indian cricket team stormed through the group stages undefeated while displaying dominance with both bat and ball. India’s depth, resilience, and firepower were on full display in the Super-8 stages, as they qualified for the T20 World Cup 2024 semifinals on the back of youthful exuberance and seasoned experience.

Well, apart from Rohit and Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Suryakumar Yadav, and Rishabh Pant have been delivering match-winning performances for the Men in Blue in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024. India’s unbeaten campaign in the group stages and super-8s cemented their status as one of the strongest favorites to win the T20 World Cup 2024.

Ravi Shastri unveils India's stellar moments in T20 World Cup 2024

With eyes set on the ultimate prize, India's relentless pursuit of glory promises fireworks in the semifinal clash against England on June 27 in Guyana. Meanwhile, former head coach and commentator Ravi Shastri revealed the Men in Blue’s best moments in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 so far in a video shared by the ICC on Instagram.

Ravi Shastri said in the video: “It's been a terrific campaign for India, but here are my top moments. They have a lot to pick from, but these are just a few. Rishabh Pant with that reverse flick for six. In the game against Ireland, set the tone. You know, it just shows the exuberance of youth and the x-factor he brings to this Indian cricket team. What a shot to finish off the game!”

The former Indian captain continued, “Jasprit Bumrah is showing just why he is the best in the business. Because the big boys take wickets when it matters. He is the man India goes to whenever it matters. That was just what the doctor needed. You come into the attack, you take a wicket, and you strike. That's what he did against Pakistan by removing Mohammad Rizwan.”

India had Ashdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj, and they have gone for Ashdeep Singh, and there's a reason why. Because with the new ball, he can swing it in. He angles it across the right-handers and has the ability to strike. Like he did in that game against the United States.”

Ravi Shastri hails Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav

Showering praise on India’s middle-order batter, Suryakumar Yadav, Shastri hailed him as a “360-degree player." The former Indian all-rounder mentioned that people often look for the shots he plays in the back, but when he hits the ground and then poses for the camera, it's a wonderful sight to see.

The former Indian head coach also lauded the star all-rounder, Hardik Pandya, saying that when he is fully fit, he is one of the best in the business. Shastri added, “He's one of the best all-rounders going because he's got a smart cricket brain. He adapts to the conditions. He adapts to what the team needs and plays accordingly. And that inning against Bangladesh showed it all. It was a controlled inning, yet he showed how explosive he can be.”

Shastri also picked Sharma’s hammering of Mitchell Starc for 29 in an over in the Super-8 clash as one of the best moments in the tournament. He said that the audacity and ease with which Rohit played some of those shots in the match were mind-boggling and special.

In the end, the commentator picked the catch picked by Axar Patel to remove Mitchell Marsh from the same game. Shastri said that it was supposed to be gone, but Axar brilliantly took a catch out of thin air, saying it was magnificent stuff from India’s spin all-rounder.
