India captain Rohit Sharma led from the front in the ongoing semi-final 2 of the T20 World Cup 2024 against England National Cricket Team. The match between the two teams is underway at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.

Rohit Sharma continued his magnificent touch with the bat in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 and made sure that he stepped up big time for his team in the semi-final of the tournament. The batter looked in terrific touch and put the England bowlers under pressure.

Rohit Sharma in the start looked scratchy but he adapted to the conditions pretty well as he then batted with great caution and also made sure that he kept the run rate in check. The India captain played some crisp shots in his innings and ensured that his team stayed at the top.

Rohit Sharma was looking all set for a big knock but his stay at the crease was cut short by the England leg-spinner Adil Rashid. The India captain went back into the hut during the 4th ball of the 14th over and his wicket brought England back into the game.

Adil Rashid bowled a googly to which Rohit Sharma swung across the line. He got beaten all ends up and the stumps got rattled. The ball stayed low and went under the bat of India's captain, who tried to smack it out of the park.
